As the daughter of a small business owner, I know first-hand the challenges that are tied to owning a business. My father owned a sales and water treatment business for many years, simply called Lawrence W. Groves Consultant. I honor his memory in starting my consulting business, Laura E. Czys Consulting.

As an HR practitioner, I have a passion for helping small businesses understand the culture they want to create and foster, the importance of strong policy and processes, and the need for transparency and consistency in leadership communication best practices. Throughout my career I have been fortunate to work on continuous process improvements, building efficiencies into tools, systems and processes through times of rapid growth. I can assist in creating long-lasting employee engagement programming. I have worked for large company spin-offs, navigated a start-up merger with DowDuPont, helped a small business rethink it’s compensation model and a growing agriculture business re-organize it’s leadership team and reporting structure. I have developed core values and recognition programs to aid in employee retention. I created the template for a second-to-none 90 day employee onboarding experience.
